Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Leaks

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has rendered images leaked by OnLeaks and SmartPrix. Samsung is not considering any major design changes this year. However, the Z Flip 6 may feature some upgrades that you might find interesting based on the leaks.

Galaxy Z Flip 6’s thickness will increase from 6.9 mm to 7.4 mm, and the battery capacity will receive an upgrade.

Design and Build

Design-wise Galaxy Z Flip 6 will remain similar to its predecessor, Galaxy Z Flip 5. Per leaked renders the Z Flip 6 measures 165.0 x 71.7 x 7.4 mm. As the thickness seems to increase from 6.9 mm to 7.4 mm, the battery capacity will receive an upgrade. Apart from that, there will be 2 microphones at the top, the Z Flip 5 has 1 microphone. Otherwise, everything will remain, more or less, the same as last year’s Flip.

Display and Screen

Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature a 6.7-inch inner Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a center-aligned punch-hole camera at the top. The bezels are almost identical to its predecessor. The cover screen will have a 3.4-inch AMOLED display. The 2 cameras and flash will remain at the same position on the main camera module like the Z Flip 5.

Hardware and Software

Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy SoC. The Flip 6 will rock Android 14 along with OneUI 6. Being a Galaxy device, the Flip 6 will benefit from Galaxy AI and will offer an enhanced user experience.

Battery

Galaxy Z Flip 6, as mentioned earlier, will receive an upgrade in its battery department. Per leaks, a 4,000 mAh battery, is an upgrade from the 3,700 mAh battery of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Release Date and Price

Galaxy Z Flip 6 may come on July 10, 2024, at the next Samsung event. The Flip 6 will cost $999 with 256 GB storage as the base model.
